Welcome to The Painted Pooch Online! Our goal is to raise awareness about animal cruelty and neglect while also creating fun art in the form of your favorite pooch! 20% of all proceeds will be donated to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Have your dog painted at an affordable price and feel good about where your money is going! Come back often, as more painted pooches will be added to the site AND to see if YOUR pooch will be featured as the "Pooch of the Week"! Enjoy and thank you for supporting such an important cause!

About the Artist
Shelly Molton was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She attends Clayton College of Natural Health where she is pursuing a degree in Holistic Nutrition.
Her art career began at the early age of 6, when she earned first place in a city-wide art contest. She placed in the same annual competion for the next 5 years. She went on to attend a fine arts school, concentrating in art. There she pursued her talent and went on to enter and place in several more competetions, including first place in a state-wide competetion for children's book illustration.
With The Painted Pooch, Shelly combines her love for art and her passion for Animal's Rights. She owes a great deal to her family and close friends for encouraging and supporting her to start The Painted Pooch!

Paint My Pooch!
The process for ordering a portrait of your pooch is easy! Just click on the "order" button below, add the items to your cart and check out with PayPal. I'll also need a photo of your dog! The photos that work the best are clear pictures of your pet, looking straight into the camera. If you have any other requests such as background color, etc. feel free to let me know! E-mail your photo to ThePaintedPooch_yahoo.com and please include your contact information as well as your pet's name! It would even be helpful to include your PayPal reference number! Hopefully soon, we'll be able to connect PayPal and the email with your photo all together into one easy step! Until then though, thank you for your patience!!
